Zahi Hawass in Germany: Unveiling Latest Archeological Discoveries "Great Discoveries in Egypt: Pyramids, the Golden City, King Tutankhamun, and the Valley of the Kings" Dr. Zahi Hawass—world-renowned Egyptian archaeologist, Egyptologist, and former Minister of Antiquities—is delivering two lectures in Germany in July 2022 to introduce the world to the latest archeological discoveries made in Egypt. The lecture will highlight the Lost Golden City, which was named the most important discovery in the world in 2021 by major newspapers and magazines. Dr. Hawass will also tackle the latest updates in the excavations taking place at the Valley of the Kings in search of Nefertiti, as well as his groundbreaking discoveries around the pyramid of Teti and Gisr el-Mudir at Saqqara in search of Imhotep, the architect who built the Step Pyramid. Dr. Hawass will also discuss the most recent updates on discovering new chambers inside the Khufu Pyramid, the largest of the Giza Pyramids.
